As you know, West Side Family Place is a non-profit organization. We are the only affordable, accessible and inclusive family resource program offering a daily drop-in for children and their caregivers on the West Side.
We do our very best to receive the majority of our funding from outside sources. However, the grants we receive do not cover all of the operating costs for our Play and Learn Family Drop-in and Parenting Education Programs. For this reason, West Side Family Place asks that all users become members of our society.
Your $40 membership entitles you to:
- Participate in Family Place programs
- Borrowing privileges for both the Resource and Toy Lending Libraries
- Quarterly newsletter digitally sent to you via email.
- Reduced rental rates for birthday parties, meetings and social gatherings
- Voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting
Please complete a membership form and return it to Family Place. We are able to take cash, credit card and cheque (payable to West Side Family Place) payments. If for any reason you are unable to pay the membership fee, please speak to staff and we would be pleased to offer you a complimentary membership.
If you are able, please consider making a charitable donation of $35, $50, $100 or any amount you can afford. Family Place provides tax receipts for charitable donations over $10.
