There is a maximum of 5 families. Babies with older siblings are welcome to join one of the Tuesday or Thursday sessions. The upstairs washroom will be available, but the kitchen and playroom will remain closed. Physical distancing will be practiced and masks are mandatory for adults. Looking for other parents to connect with? This Mama Papa Goose program is a virtual group experience for parents with their babies focusing on the pleasure and power of using rhymes and songs. The pace is slow and relaxed with plenty of time to connect with other parents for casual discussion of issues and questions that arise. This is a nationally recognized Early Literacy Program. 10:00 am: Outdoor Play at Family PlaceFebruary 9, 2021 – Come join us for a small-group play session at WSFP. In order to serve as many people as possible, families will be limited to one visit per week. The program will be held outdoors, rain or shine, and will consist of 45 minutes of play followed by Circle Time. Families are encouraged to bring their own sand toys. The upstairs washroom will be available, but the kitchen and playroom will remain closed. Physical distancing will be practiced and masks are recommended for adults. Participants design their own agenda and through staff facilitated discussion, assistance, mutual support, encouragement and acceptance, parents can experience transformative growth with a goal to parenting with raised confidence.
