About Us

Our Story
We know that raising children is a rewarding role. We also know that it can be lonely, frustrating and sometimes bewildering. Located in a cosy house in the heart of the community, West Side Family Place serves as a welcoming meeting place for parents, caregivers and young children.

Is West Side Family Place open to anybody?
YES. We are open to all families with children between birth and 5 years old. We are a resource centre dedicated to supporting families with young children. Come along to WSFP to make new friends, gain a sense of community, and receive ongoing assistance to help you raise happy, healthy children.
What ages are the children who come to your drop-in?
WSFP welcomes all families with children between birth and 5 years; however, as children grow older, they begin attending daycares so the average age is around 6 months to 3 years.
