Join us for a play session and Circle Time at WSFP.
All families and caregivers with children aged 0-5 years old are welcome to join this play session.
The program is held indoors and outdoors, and will consist of art and sensory activities, imaginative and big movement play and Circle Time.
Parents and caregivers are provided with in-house support, community resources and support services upon request.
Facilities:
Routine handwashing and sanitizing will be in place. Mask wear is optional. The upstairs space – kitchen, dining room and living room – will be available for coffee, tea and to have your snacks. Washrooms with change tables are available on both levels.
The Sensory Room at West Side Family Place:
A safe and inclusive space that offers thoughtful, rich and varied sensorial experiences. WSFP strives to be continuously mindful and honour the diverse learning abilities and sensitivities of each member of our community. Families are encouraged to use the space to establish co-regulation and support self-regulation. It can be used as a transitional space for children and families to ease into programs and activities, people to connect with, and the environment. Furthermore, it is a space where each child can play at their own pace.
Registration:
Registration is weekly starting on Friday at 10 am.
